We use a schedule for Instagram to help us maintain an inspiring feed. Everyday has its own hashtag and a question that goes with a specific hashtag.
WHO
Lauren, AC and LB
WHEN
There should be around three posts every week, preferably on different days every week so we don't repeat the same hashtag all the time. Usually we post 2 from the office and AC posts herself on the weekends.
HOW
Instagram schedule
Template
#Hashtag of the day - Question?
Answer your own question.
Monday - #MoveonMonday - What are you working on today?
Tuesday - #TreasureTuesday - What do you treasure?
Wednesday - #WantingWednesday - What do you desire?
Thursday - #ThrowbackThursday - What have you done lately?
Friday - #FeelingFriday - How are you feelin'?
Saturday - #SocialSaturday - Who are you with today?
Sunday - #Saunasunday - Whats Bondi looking like today?
Feed
Edit the picture in Instagram so it looks good together with the rest of our feed. Usually we use Instagram's own filter, just the edit tool and fix Contrast, Lightness, Highlights and Saturation. We like the more desaturated pictures and grayscale ones.
Share the post to Anna-Carin's Facebook as well when you are posting the picture.
Pictures that we have noticed get more likes are
Personal photos of AC
Our own interiors
Events/experiences
Travels
Moodboards
Flatlayers
Instastories
Use the "Melbourne" filter on the stories. Use an existing colour from the image for your text. Save the good ones as Highlights so they stay on our page.
Where
We have an Instagram library on the server where you can browse for pictures we plan to post. The library is sorted with the different days so make sure to add pictures that we have taken there to use for later on if they aren't suitable for the current day.
Make sure to always red mark the pictures you decide to post so we don't post the same picture twice.
WHY
Instagram is the biggest social media channel and a great way to promote ourselves and our work. It's important to keep an inspiring and pretty feed.
